The purple: point data

I redo your code, copy all the code, and run it all. But, on my map, there are no purple dots shown as geo points. I have already added the type = "p" (point), adjust the alpha and cex--but still no avail. Please help.

My guess is that you're referring to the code in Line 37. If not, please clarify.

I was not able to recreate the error. The code works on my computer. Here are some alternatives:

1. update your R / RStudio / R packages to the latest versions.

2. Try @drew-kener's (my GIS Colleague) updated workshops on R
