When migrating the svg libraries I noticed there is no examples bundled but they are listed here: https://processing.org/reference/libraries/svg/index.html

Sorry if this isn’t the best place to mention this, but it’s related to one of the examples on the website about SVG export. In version 4.4.10, the example “Single Frame from an Animation (With Screen Display)” gives me the error:

“Syntax Error - Missing name or type near boolean record;?”

If I change the variable name record to something else, for example recording, it works fine. Maybe in this new version that variable name is now reserved for something else? Thanks.

Hi @Stefterv,

I see PR #1291 hasn't moved in a couple of months. As others pointed out above, the code currently fails because record is a reserved keyword in the newer Java versions used by P4.

I can open a fresh PR with the fixed variable names (swapping record for isRecording) to get this unblocked and merged. Let me know if that works for you!
