我重新用目前的 master 核對後，這個變更現在不建議直接實作：

• useMergedValue 會把 undefined / null 正規化為 DOM 可接受的空字串。
• Input 與 TextArea 的 allow-clear 測試都明確要求清除後 event.target.value === ""，實際元素的 value 也必須是 ""。
• 這也符合原生 HTMLInputElement.value / HTMLTextAreaElement.value 的字串契約。把內部狀態設成 undefined，但事件仍回傳空字串，對使用者沒有一致的可觀察語意；若連事件一起改，則會破壞既有 API 與測試。

如果需求是區分「從未輸入」和「使用者主動清除」，目前可以透過 onClear 或受控狀態處理，而不需要改變 onChange 的值契約。基於目前證據，我建議將此 issue 視為不採用／關閉；若仍有會因此出錯的具體受控或非受控重現案例，可以再依重現調整。
